Shaping Our Future -
A Transportation and Land Use Initiative
The Town is updating its Transit Oriented Development (TOD) plan and its Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) or Land Use Management Ordinance (LUMO).
Our charge is to create vibrant, walkable places within identified growth areas across Chapel Hill. These areas will provide homes, services and jobs, attract riders to transit, link to surrounding neighborhoods, and connect public and private sectors to achieve sustained implementation of our comprehensive vision.
We want your input on more specific recommendations, and how to achieve plans.
Please check out our upcoming events to see how you can participate in this initiative.
